COMPANY HISTORY

Gem Source was established in 1989 by Registered Gemologist and Company President Jim Salyer. A commitment to provide genuine, fine quality gems and jewelry was, and still is, our main focus. Customer satisfaction and personal service ALWAYS come first!

Gem Source's first location was a small shop on Lane Allen Road in Lexington, Kentucky. Having grown considerably, we have since moved to our present location in 2001.

Gem Source is also a member of the Lexington, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
